Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts (May 31st-June 18th)

Prepare to be immersed in a world of creativity as the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts takes center stage. PIFA celebrates artistic innovation through a variety of disciplines, including music, dance, theater, visual arts, and more. With captivating performances, thought-provoking exhibits, and interactive installations, PIFA is a must-visit event for art enthusiasts of all ages.

Philly Pride 365 (June 4th)

Philly’s big Pride event celebrates love in all its forms. This year’s program organizers, Galaei, take over downtown Philadelphia with Philly Pride 365, a day-long celebration bringing festive entertainment and a slew of community resources. Pride 365 begins with the Pride “Love, Light and Liberation” March through Center City, departing from 6th and Walnut Streets and featuring music, speeches and a morning ceremony. The march ends at the vibrant Pride festival in Philly’s Midtown Village neighborhood — affectionately known as the Gayborhood — featuring pay-as-you-go food, family fun and LGBTQ+ resources.

Odunde Festival (June 11th)

Experience the largest African-American street festival on the East Coast - the Odunde Festival. Celebrating African culture and heritage, this vibrant event features live music, traditional dances, colorful costumes, arts and crafts, and mouthwatering African cuisine. Explore the bustling marketplaces, participate in workshops, and embrace the rich cultural traditions that make Odunde a unique Philadelphia experience.

Wawa Welcome America Festival (June 19th-July 4th)

Kickstart your summer with the Wawa Welcome America Festival, an extravaganza celebrating America's independence. This star-spangled event offers free concerts, dazzling fireworks displays, historical reenactments, delicious food, and family-friendly activities. Don't miss the Grand Finale Concert, featuring renowned artists, as Philadelphia commemorates the birth of the nation with a bang.
