Schuylkill River Sojourn
June 20, 2024
The Schuylkill River Sojourn is the annual 112-mile guided kayak/canoe trip that begins where the water trail does, in Schuylkill Haven, PA. Eric, our property manager, volunteered to greet the paddlers at Betzwood Park, set up tables and chairs, put up tents, pulled kayaks from the water, and provided refreshments.
Upper Darby Greek Festival
May 16 - 19, 2024
Our broker, Chris, and leasing manager, Dimitra, volunteered at the Upper Darby Greek Festival! It was hosted by their church, St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, and it is their largest fundraiser of the year! The festival featured vendors offering food and drinks, as well as unique goods and crafts.
Schuylkill River Trail Ambassador
2024 Trail Season
Our property manager, Eric, is new to the Trail Ambassador team and will be traveling from Shawmont to Norristown most days when on the trail. He primarily report concerns to the Schuylkill River Greenways, such as downed trees, flooding, and foot bridges that need repair. He has committed to volunteering at least 8 hours per month during the “trail season," which is roughly April - October.

Stray Cat Scurry Walkathon
September 10, 2023
New Age sponsored the 2023 Stray Cat Scurry and our agent, Nicole, walked the 5K! The Stray Cat Relief Fund is based in South Philly, was founded in 2010, and provides Trap-Neuter-Release and foster-to-adoption services to over 800 cats annually in Southeastern PA and NJ. This was the second year they hosted this event, and they were able to raise $22,038!
Phillies Charities 5K
March 25, 2023
Our employees participated in the 2023 Phillies Charities 5K! It is one of many activities that Phillies Charities, Inc., the charitable arm of the Phillies organization, uses to raise funds for organizations that serve a wide variety of needs, primarily in PA, NJ, and DE, and particularly those serving the Greater Philadelphia area and the communities of its minor league affiliates.
Philly Cheer Elite/Cheer Philadelphia
2022-2023 Season
A few of our employees are members of Philly-based cheerleading teams, which support LGBTQIA+ initiatives and volunteer at LGBTQIA+ events around not only Philly, but around the country as well! They attend pride parades, Philly sports teams pride nights, local pride events, and more. Tyler and Liz are members of Philly Cheer Elite and Andrea is a member of Cheer Philadelphia.

New Age is sponsoring The Greek Orthodox Youth of America through St. Demetrios Church. This program's mission is to equip young people with the tools necessary to assist them with their journey to discovering more about their faith. 2 members of the New Age staff, Chris and Dimitra, are part of the St. Demetrios community.

New Age is sponsoring the 12th Annual Penn Alexander School Run for Art & Science 5K and 1 Mole Fun Run/Walk this year! The Penn Alexander School provides students with the academic, technological, and social skills needed to be productive and contributing citizens in society!

UCD Movies at Clark Park
Fridays in August 2023
New Age sponsored the University City District Movies at Clark Park again this year! This is a great way for the community to catch free outdoor movies in Clark Park on Friday nights during the Summer. This year's featured films were Raiders of the Lost Ark, Encanto, King Richard, and Top Gun: Maverick. Presented by UCD, in partnership with Philadelphia Parks and Recreation and Friends of Clark Park.

Drexel University DAC Pack
2022-2023 Season
For 2 seasons, New Age has sponsored the Drexel DAC Pack, the athletic student section whose primary goal is to help build and foster the Drexel Community by spreading school spirit and pride. New Age has a long history with Drexel, having employed a few graduates from the University, as well as being an active participant in Drexel's Co-op Program.
